The future
The Education & Community Programme is the year-round embodiment of the Festival and plays a vital role in ensuring links with our local communities. We will continue to programme mainstream projects with schools and community groups, as well as developing new projects inspired by the rich cultural diversity of Spitalfields and the eclectic programming of the Festival. We will ensure that support for artists, apprentices and teachers helps to provide highly effective and high-quality projects. We will aim to enrich and deepen the experience for all participants who explore and discover music through the Festival.

The programme is supported and advised by a committee of artists and educationalists including Diana Burrell, the Festival's Artistic Director, and teachers from across Tower Hamlets.
